April 2006 @ approximately 17:00. The new Google site is located in The Dalles,
Oregon USA on the west side of town on Port Authority property
between the Columbia River and Interstate 84.
They have built a new power substaion specifically for Google which is hooked directly to The
Dalles dam less than 2 miles from the site. The site is situated on
approximately 30 acres of land right on the bank of the Columbia River.
There is a bike / foot path that stretches from the nature observatory
to the west of Google around the north side of the complex
and continuing on east towards the town center. Click on any thumb below for a full
